7 years ago I was a miserable, depressed, suicidal mess. I had spent most of my life avoiding challenges and giving into defeating negative self talk. I believed I was a victim and told myself, “This is just how life is, and there is nothing I can do about it.” I had given up before I even tried to find happiness. I drowned my sorrow in alcohol abuse, and this only further fueled my depression. It was when I reached the peak of depression and attempted to end my own life, that I decided something needed to change, and that change was me. No one was victimizing me other than myself. I was the problem. No one was going to give me happiness. If I wanted it, I needed to do something about it.

It was shortly after this, that I made a commitment to analyze the decisions I’d made in life, and decided to forge a new path. One evening before I stepped into the shower, I looked at myself in the mirror, and was disgusted at what I saw. I was weighing in at around 250lbs and let me tell you, it was most certainly not muscle mass. I asked myself, “Who is this person? How did I let this happen?” For all the talk of “warrior spirit” I’d so romantically clung to my entire life, I was definitely not showing any of it. It was in this moment that I decided to also dedicate myself to transforming my body and making a commitment to fitness and nutrition. At first it was simply out of a desire to look better, but I quickly found the mental health benefits of regular fitness and nutrition to far outweigh any other benefit! This only further fueled what I like to call my new “healthy addiction”.

I want to share the knowledge I’ve accumulated over the past 6 years with all of you, and help you achieve your dream physiques. I’ve made a lot of mistakes along the way, and learned a lot of valuable lessons. Let me help you fast track your progress by skipping the learning curve! It is not only to help you look great, but to help you feel great as well! I can not stress enough the benefits to mental stability I have found through fitness. Through my fitness plans you will be given full access to what I have done to completely change my body from an overweight depressed slob, to finally living by the one thing I’d always valued. The Warrior Spirit.
